Nam Knight Joe "Hit 'n Run" Boyd passed on September 11th, 2006 after a long and valiant fight with cancer. Hit 'n Run never felt sorry for himself. He lived his life to the fullest. Agent Orange caused Joe to lose a good part of his throat 15 years ago. Although he couldn't eat since then, he never once complained about it. "Give me a Pepsi and I'm fine" he would say. There are tough men and then there's Joe. He loved his brothers and loved his Bucs. He also loved his wife Sue and his three girls very much. Joe is in a better place now and he feels no pain. The only pain is the ache in our hearts now that he's gone. KFFK Hit 'n Run...

Nam Knight Mark "Gunner" Martinez tragically lost his life on the evening of June 30, 2011 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Gunner was a true American warrior and hero, a Veteran of Vietnam, Desert Storm, Panama, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He honorably served our nation for more than three decades, first in the Air Force, and then in the Army, as well as having worked as a prison guard in the Florida state penitentiary system. Gunner was the quintessential Nam Knight, and epitomized what this Club is about. He never asked for anything in return, but was always there for his Brothers. He loved to ride and was looking forward to his new-found retired status, spending time with his Family and riding with his Brothers. We love you, Brother. You will truly be missed. Rest in Peace, Gunner. KFFK

Nam Knight Curtis "Sarge" Fessler passed away February 1, 2012. NK Sarge was a veteran of both the US Air Force and the US Army. He served multiple tours in Vietnam from 1967 to 1976 as an Infantryman but was most proud as serving as a Tunnel Rat in the tunnels throughout Vietnam. It takes a unique man with an extraordinary amount of courage and fortitude to enter a Viet Cong tunnel armed with only a .45 caliber pistol, bayonet, and a flashlight....and Sarge was that type of man. He was very proud of his service with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and with the 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One). He always spoke of his Troops from Vietnam and always kept them close to his heart. Sarge was a simple man who enjoyed his simple things....a Lucky Strike and a little Jack. We can hear him now as his Brothers anxiously awaited his arrival in the eternal chapter replying......"Whaaaaatt?" You will always remain in our thoughts Brother. KFFK

On March 28, 2012 we lost a great man, father, husband, Brother, and true American Hero. A tragic motorcycle accident prematurely took our Brother from us. NK Woody was a loving father and husband who loved his family beyond words and with a smile would talk for hours about them. He truly enjoyed being amongst his Nam Knight Brothers and his Army Brethren. After the love for his family and Brothers came his love for his country. NK Woody served honorably for just over 12 years in the Army serving in various locations and served on multiple deployments. He loved it best when it involved jumping out of an aircraft and leading his fellow paratroopers. Most men strive to be half the man Chris Woodard was and the ones who had the distinct honor of knowing are better men because of him. Brother you will be deeply missed and never forgotten. On February 17, 2014 we lost a great man, father, husband, and Brother. A tragic motorcycle accident prematurely took our Brother from us. NK Hyperspace was a loving father and husband who had a smile that was as big as his heart. He loved nothing more than spending time with family or riding with his Brothers. We will definitely miss that big smile and kind heart. We may be apart for now but we will ride together once again. Brother you will be deeply missed and never forgotten. On November 16, 2015 we lost a great man and brother. Coyote lost a hard fought battle with cancer in November of 2015. A longtime member of the Nam Knights. He was always there if you needed him. His family was his focus, and his dedication to the Nam Knights organization was second to none. He retired to focus on his family and his battle with cancer, but remained close and in contact with the Nam Knights. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and laughter. A valued member of the Nam Knights and the Westside Chapter. Always a Westie Boy. Loved and missed by all, never to be forgotten. Love, Honor, Respect, Brotherhood / KFFK.

Barry "Boats" Wayne Johnson passed away on April 27, 2017 at the age of 73. He was a well-respected man who was born in Osceola, Wisconsin and was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Johnson and his mother, Elvira Johnson. He retired from the United States Navy after 24 years of service as a Chief Boatswain mate in 1988. He was a Vietnam Veteran and spent 4 years as a Brown Water River Rat from 1964 to 1968. After retirement from the Navy he worked as a rigger for the Army Corp of Engineers repairing dams. He and his wife moved to Brandon, FL in 2002 and he made a big impact on the community. He is the last of the 4 founding fathers of AMVETS Post 26 to pass away and a Charter Member. He served as Past Commander of AMVETS Post 26, Member of the Grievance Committee of AMVETS Department of Florida; belonged to the Nam Knights Westside Motorcycle Club, Moose Lodge of Brandon, Valrico Eagles FOE # 3566 and Lifetime Member of AMVETS Post 26 of Dover, FL and VFW of Puyallup, WA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Susan; 3 Children, Eric (wife, Kristy) Johnson, Tanya Johnson and Cory Johnson (wife, Chelsey) Johnson; 2 step-children, Amy Gens Zink (husband, Steve), Jason Gens; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life was held on May 13th at 2pm at AMVETS Post 26 at 221 S. Dover Rd., Dover, FL 33527. He was buried in Osceola, WI next to his parents and grandparents.

Edward "Fast Eddie" McGurk III passed away January 21, 2018. Ed proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was also very active with the Nam Knights motorcycle club, The Fraternal Order of Eagles, and AMVETS Post 26. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward. Ed is survived by his family, sons, Nick, Roman; mother, Fran; sisters, Trish McGurk Seals (Greg) (Ashley) and Peggy McGurk Loar (Dayna Rosado (Alexie and children), Michelle Mateo and children, Stephen Mateo and children, Kellianne Loar), business partner and ex-wife, Geri, and many other loving family members and friends.

Larry "Grunt" Williams passed away May 23, 2021. Larry, a Vietnam veteran, proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was also very active with the Nam Knights motorcycle club. He was a self employed tile contractor. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbra Shepheard and father Jim Williams. Survivors included his wife Teresa Cater Williams, children: Monica (Dustin) Knisley, Joey Williams, Becky Christianson, and Stacy Williams; Grandson, Maverick Knisley; sisters: Jimlene (Mike) Pleva and Linda (Mike); brother Ray Leitz and niece and nephew, Libby & Sam Pleva, and many other loving family members and friends.
